MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
- Phone the land line during reception hours on 051 444 1059. Do not phone the doctors on their cell phones for appointments. They do not have access to the diary and will not be able to tell you when to come, nor reserve a specific time for you.
- Indicate which doctor you would prefer to see. If this doctor is not available or is fully booked, please indicate whether you would like to see the other doctor or come to the locum after hours. Alternatively you will be accommodated the next day.
- Specify at which times it will be possible to come.
- Be clear if your problem is urgent.
- You will asked your DATE OF BIRTH (yy/mm/dd), SURNAME of the patient and your MEDICAL AID. You will also be informed of outstanding balances, if any, and co-payments.

WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY
- In the event of a life threatening emergency, proceed directly to Mediclinic emergency room or call the ambulance to respond to your emergency.
- If your emergency is more of an “urgency” than an “emergency”, call the land line and inform reception that you need to be seen urgently. You will be advised when to come or what to do.
- Please keep the emergency numbers on your fridge and in your wallet.
